Midtown is the squared part of the island comprising Central Park in the north and Madison Square Park in the south, between the 26th and the 6th Streets. The almost-centre axe of this middle part of Manhattan is none other than the elegant Fifth Avenue, extending from the North Manhattan, near Harlem River, including the east border of Central Park, continued at the southwest angle of the park into a long place filled with flowerbeds called the Grand Army Plaza.
