The 241 m high 50-story building located at 1 Madison Avenue was created by Napoleon Le Brun. It was finished in 1908. Le Brun took his inspirations from Saint Mark’s Campanile in Venice, Italy, the building retained his title as the world’s highest building until the Woolworth Building came to steal its throne in 1913. All four sides of the tower are ornated with clocks having 8 m of diameter.This photo has been viewed 2654 times
