Of a height of 381 m (1,250 feet), the ESB counts 102 floors (comprising of 85 floors of offices) illuminated by 6,500 windows, with 1,860 stairs and 73 elevators (six of which reserved for wares). It held its title as the world’s highest building until the 1970s. After 911 and the WTC Twin Tower fell into destruction, the ESB has once again become New York’s highest skyscraper.
