The main entrance, located at the 42th Street, gives you a direct access to the vast Grand Councourse (or Central Concourse), a hall where passers-by get lost within its large dimensions - 114 m of length, 37 m of width, and 38 m of height. Large, highly placed glasses transmitting sunlight into the hall and monumental chandeliers hanging on the lateral porches making you feel as if you were standing inside a cathedral. In the middle of the hall, the information counter has a huge standing clock made from yellow copper.
